FIRST POST OF YEAR 2013!

How time flies, it’s 2013 already. Twenty Twelve was a mixture of moments just like all the past years. The only thing that changed is ME. Will talk bout my changes some other time because now I am going to sum up the highlights that happened last year.

A new found close bud

For years, it had always been DONNA and ME. When the family or the boyfriend asks, “you going out with who?” the answer had always been… “Donna (FULL-STOP)”. Now, ever since Steffy joined our little group of friendship, the answer has changed and ‘Donna’ is not often enunciate alone. It’s really nice to have ‘Donna AND Steffy’ as an answer and it is also nice to have another two ears to listen to my rants.

All that sparkles

I swear, I did not plan any of this. I made a case for my aunty because the ones she saw in the shopping mall is way.. way.. over-priced. After that, orders keep on coming in. I was surprise with the overwhelm support/orders I received and decided to make this bling-cases as my side income. To be honest, this is not easy. My supplier from China keeps on slacking. I got so frustrated I wanted to shout at her. Luckily she is 2000 miles away. Anyways, everything is fine now. Magnificent Manila

I travel to Manila for the first time with my awesomeness friends. I have blogged about this so to cut it short, just visit this link la.

Clean Eating

I have been practicing clean eating since early 2012. I drink coffee and tea without sugar, I hardly drink carbonated drinks, eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, I cut down on my sweet cravings and I drink a lot of water. I did this not only for the purpose of weight loss, but it also give me the benefits of clearer skin and shinier hair. Of course, I do have my cheat-day. I am still getting use to this new eating plan and hope I can archive something by the middle of this year.

Pandora; my Story, my Design

My body tends to feeble when I catch a glimpse on beautiful accessories. Yet, my passion towards it crushed because of my hyperhidrosis. All of my designer inspired accessories tend to rust after 3-4 times used and I dislike it. I have no choice but to get rid of it before it affects my other accessories. Hence, the picture of throwing money to trash cans emerge. I start to realise that steel accessories are not meant for me and will never invest on that sort of stuffs anymore unless it is graded AAA.

My first glimpse of Pandora Jewelry was from a local blogger and yes, I feebled. I told my dolls; Donna and Steffy about my affection towards Pandora and they have no idea about it.

Steffy puts an end to my misery when she told me there’s a Pandora shop in the ground floor of Suria Sabah. During that time, we were in Suria having our lunch in Fullhouse Lifestyle & Café. After lunch, we invaded Pandora and I did not leave the shop empty handed. To date, this is how my Pandora bracelet looks like:

That’s my Pandora; my Story, my Design. The pink Murano glass represent my affection towards pink colour; the floral openwork charm represent my interest in flowers and the dog house represent my two puggies, Persie & Jellie; and the two clippers are just a random pick.

I stop buying Pandora charms for the time being because they are so expensive. I am planning on something big next year so I can’t simply waste money. Moreover, my Marc Jacob watch strap need to replace and I am sure it gonna cost around RM400

6 Healthy Snack Ideas

Snacking healthy snacks are very important if you want to lose weight. Although they are healthy, we still need to take note of the serving size. These are the list of my healthy snacks between meals:

One slice of 100% whole grain toast
Fresh Vegetables such as carrots, celery, and cherry tomatoes. Just give them a quick wash and they are ready to go! Fresh vegetables are a great choice because they fill you up with so few calories. No need to worry about serving size here. The more you want to eat the better
A piece of fresh fruit. One serving of fruit is 60 calories and they are rich in fiber! Apples, oranges, and pears are good choices
A small handful of nuts. Choose the unsalted or lightly salted one. (Although very healthy, they are very caloric)
A handful of unsalted pumpkin seeds. You can get it from Consfood, Damai
A 6oz container of plain yogurt. Try to find varieties with the lowest amount of sugar possible. To determine this, look at the grams of sugar per serving on the food label. You can just buy plain yogurt and add a drizzle of honey to better control the amount of sugar consume

I hope this list has given you some inspiration to snack healthily. Remember; eat better to feel better and exercise regularly. It pays!

24th Birthday

Since I have nothing to do right now and feel like blogging, I do a short birthday post about me being lucky on my birthday.

Boyfriend and I decided to have my birthday dinner at the place we first went for a date. A very romantic place because we have the beach for our view and candle for our light.

That night, I was impress by our bills. The first round of order, boyfriend paid 68.44RM and then after an hour, we ordered a jug of beer and also he paid 68.44RM. I am a bit sensitive when it come to numbers. CHINESE! Hahahaha..!! I’m half Chinese what? =P

This is unusual to me because both of the bills are 6844; my birthday is 6th of August (68) and this year I am 24 years of age (24). 24 and 44, only 1 number different ma. CHINESE! Hahahaha..!!

So, boyfriend and I had this crazy idea to try our luck in 4D lottery. I was OK with it because it only cost us 2.40RM for two tickets =D and guess what … … .

Hahahahahahahahaha..!!!!!

A way of making ones self feel better, by hurting others. Usually caused by closed mindedness and a lack of manners.

A condition of which we cannot escape. Many people are more apt at being judgemental than others, alarm bells ought to ring if you find yourself with ‘personality labelers’ who tell you that you have ‘evil thoughts’ or are ‘stupid’. This is usually the result of some unfortunate mistake which you made and they have picked up on. The language they use is cunning, so it hits you where it hurts (guilt, sadness etc) and they blame you for causing the world misery.

Being judgemental will show people how insensate you are.

This picture is a pretty good example:

You have no right to judge a person if you don’t know them personally. You know nothing about them so why make an assumption? I know being judgemental is no new to our nature but if we can spare it for just a little bit, less people gets hurt.

I sincerely do not intend to humiliate anybody here. My only intention is to spread an ‘awareness’ to them girls. Bye~

Albeit of looking almost perfect in appearance, my green tea cupcakes were a failure and 50RM of money went up in smoke. I called it bitter sweet Green Tea cupcake because of the taste; sweet on the outside and bitter on the inside. This was caused by the excessive amount of green tea powder which I did not know it is strong in flavour. Wtf!
